A small detail that I love in the whole illusion scene before he gets hit by the train is when Beck says "if you were good enough, maybe Tony would still be alive," the music and background noise cuts out completely, and Beck's voice is no longer amplified. It's haunting and I love it.

Funny story: When i saw this movie in theatres, there was an earthquake, which i thought was part of the movie at first. A bunch of people left the theatre. I stayed, and the earthquake stopped. Later, I said i was mad at the Earthquake for interrupting my movie.

Funny yet unfortunate story. I got to attend a lecture given by Jullian Foddy who worked on the VFX for this film, and they showed off an in-progress version of the final New York web-slinging sequence. It was cool to see some of the ideas they had that were removed however the worst part about it was that it used the full version of the homecoming re-imagining of the classic Spider-man theme. It was SO GOOD yet the final film goes with their own unique yet less memorable Spider-man theme. Seeing that sequence with the classic theme orchestrated with subtle uses of guitars was way more satisfying that what we got.

Okay so I decided need an Everything Great About Night at the Museum. For
at least all 3 movies. Robin Williams deserves a win.

My interpretation of the customs lady was that Spider-Man operates in New York and simply isn't that widely known outside of that area. Let alone outside of the US.


As for the german dub, the animated series actually had people refer to Spider-Man as "Spinne". Not sure what was up with that, especially since the title doesn't translate the name.


And honestly, some people belittle those who thought Mysterio might be a hero, but while I did know he was a villain in the comics, so was Mordo, and he doesn't go bad until the end of that movie. So I totally would've believed that Mysterio starts out as a hero and only becomes the antagonist after something else happens. Same thing with Gwen's death in TASM. Everyone who read the comics knew about it, but many were still wondering if the movie would ACTUALLY do it or change Gwen's fate.
